i'm back !

hope you missed me but anyway , long post here on my taiwan trip with merl and other miscellaneous stuffs .
i don't know about you but frankly i like reading lengthy posts so try and appreciate this somehow ok .

since i'm back here safe and sound , lemme show you my 2 self declared lucky charms .

since merl says it's tradition to take  photos with the plane !

... not that you can see much of the plane though :x

the first day , our first stop after we reached taipei was to take a bus to the high speed rail, did half a day shopping at gaoxiong and then we took a cab to kenting , checked in our hotel and headed to kenting street market .

since i could'nt sleep in the airplane which was a 4 and a half hours flight *inserts sad face* i napped in the buses , high speed rails and cabs . yup , i spent most of my time in the transports in taiwan napping .

shopping for the first day consists of me getting mainly souvenirs ,
merl getting her necklaces and bracelet and us a couple necklace and ring ♥
also food such as taiwan instant noodles , milk teas , tea eggs , onigiri , dian xin , mochi ice cream , biscuits for gifts , noodles , braised rice , sausages and tall ice cream !

yep merl has one more than me !
hers are the 1st 3 from left , mine are the last two .
3rd and 4th are our newly bought taiwan rings .

the new ring is rose gold and silver (more silver again!) initially i wanted any new rings to be gold or black but since its half gold , it's cute too :D

gave me a scare when it went missing on the 3rd day , lucky it dropped into my bag and i still have it .
*sigh of relief*

first day felt like a long day cos we touched down in taipei at 6am so spend the whole day up and about .
and went kenting street till late but it's an adventure in itself :p

merl always watches tv for abit while i go to sleep first :D

2nd day outfit !

super casual since we are doing alot of outsdoorsy stuff in the sun . such as visit to the national museum of marine biology and aquarium , lighthouse and other attractions . here are some pictures !

second stop was lighthouse i think which proved quite scary cos of all the flies , mosquitoes and such .


third was this dragon park which was quite nice with no flies nor mozzies :D

next we headed to another place for sunset !
(i hope im getting the order right . no flies nor mozzies either)

fifth place was super scary with alot of flies and mozzies !!
although its a good spot to take photos i feel but the flies crawl all over you and i hate flies :(
so i didnt manage to take a nice photo successfully for merl . oops so sorry . i cant do flies .

but our tour guide took one that looks ok for us ,
so not all hope is lost ~ photos are with merl .

for the last 2 stops we went to some gate and everlasting fire .
super lazy to take photos so i dont have any .
