where do i go from here

Because I have the mood for it, this is a random post about how I spend my days together with some musings and the wishlist I have at the moment. Also written with proper punctuation and grammar, because I do in fact know how to and it's always good to try something different once in awhile :)

For a brief period of time today, my initial plan was to head down to Far East to get a haircut but I decided against it as I was put off by the weather. Scorching weather makes me lazy to get out of the house so i figured a blog post was as good as any, since one was due anyway.

If I may say so once again, I don't normally take much food pictures, so let me start of by showing you the 2 I salvaged; or rather specifically made it a point to take-

my weekend lunch for yesterday and today!

Saturday was portobello florentine from Maison Ikkoku (20 Kandahar St)
It tasted great, and I really like how their greens came with 3 balls of watermelon.
Yup, they are not tomatoes but watermelon!


& Sunday was home cooked chicken curry by my mommy which was yummy. 


Also I've got to say again that I really like my hair colour as it is right now and I'm probably going to do something similar the next time I dye my hair (which is probably happening in say 2, 3 months?).
I kind of like how the dip dye effects of black and ash brown come together but I want to do a lighter shade plus some lighter highlights the next dip dye! Currently though, I feel it looks good in photos no matter what filter I use! but it could be nicer if the ends are brighter, some photos for you to see once again :D


On a side note, I realized that I also tend to dig guys with black hair: Wolverine, Loki, Diaval, Crocodile, Xanxus, Kenpachi, Kurogane etc. :p

Currently though my wishlist is a new bed set which preferably includes a new bed, mattress and wardrobe with a full length mirror. so now you know where my bonus will go to.

Also my health has been kinda sucky lately so I'm going for a dental checkup which hopefully turns out fine as I have 2 wisdom teeth, of which one of them is already 3/4 grown. I'm hoping I don't have to do an extraction :(

Of course if there is a need to then I suppose I'll just suck it up.

And then see how it goes.

If everything turns out fine with my teeth I'll probably see a dermatologist then to deal with my annoying outbreaks. Because I normally have acne which forms under the skin surface :(
Sucks to have health issues. Boo!

it's funny how it always makes me resentful 
i know i only have myself to blame
but i'll tell myself it doesn't matter if i can take it stride
still it doesn't change the fact that i shouldn't be keeping the things i don't need .

spent too long from creating this entry to not typing anything that i can't phantom what is an appropriate greeting .

anyway it looks like my posts have really become a monthly occurrence :x

it's because at times like now i don't feel as though i have anything to blog about .
how have your weeks been though ?

me personally , i really like the movies i've caught lately ,
said movies being: godzilla , x-men: days of future past and maleficient .

i liked x-men the best , followed my maleficient and then godzilla .

x-men was because of the wow factor due to the many action scenes plus my fav mutant wolverine :)
well i gotta say that for this movie i liked quicksilver and mystique too.
more so of mystique , so many cool fight scenes and we get to see her growing up and discovering herself .

maleficient was super save the ending , really liked how the movie played out plus i ship maleficient and diaval *cough*

godzilla's ending was good though :)

oh well , all 3 are in my 'definitely must watch list' so do catch it if you haven't !

my super long weekend is coming to a close and it's back to work for me tomorrow .
i really think i need a longer break than just this :x
still its better then nothing .

they are really tiring though and i don't think i like them all so much .

Ohai !
So sorry for the super long hiatus !
i've been so busy and loaded with work plus personal activities that i find it hard to make time to even turn on my laptop . most of the time when i reach home i concuss on the bed , do some mild net surfing with my ipad and then wishing i have more time to myself .

yes life has been sad like that , but it's not all that bad ; it is actually quite good .
it's just that i could really do with more time .

to make it up to you guys though , this is a superrr long post . (becuz of the super alotta pictures :p)
and becuz yours truly has been rather productive as of late ; as of late referring to past few weeks .

the first set of pictures that i have for y'all will be food pictures becuz i've made it a point to capture 1 in 5 proper food shots for this post , to make it up to all/any readers as i have not blogged for such a long time .

so here's to my much loved drinks and desserts:

after much deliberation , i got to say i still can't decide whether i prefer the mocha warm or iced .
warm on one hand is sweeter with more thickness , which translates to it having more milk and you know how much i like milk , but iced is prefect for the weather we have , plus it has a more distinct coffee aroma . well , i guess i'll just have to alternate .


himalayan tea @ mccafe

this is easily accessible and an instant perk me up so i love it to bits . i've been told it's a little unique so you may want to go easy on the dosage on your 1st try to ascertain if it suits you .


ice honey latte @ mado

it's great on the visuals and scores mid-high points for the taste but this drink is not something that addicts my taste buds all that much .

strawberry tofu cheesecake and red velvet cheescake @ cake spade

the blueberry white tea was just meh.
cakes were really good and filing though :)

moving on from food , here's some personal stuff i did that i feel rather accomplished about .
fugishidane nano block which i completed 100% of successfully .
the first nano block was 90% completed by mom which is another story for another day if ever .

recent buy- new pretty colour pencils to werk it 

now here is my greatest recent accomplishment , a waterfall card :3
i happened to chance upon one and was immediately curious as to how it works so i watched a couple of videos and made my own !

here is how the mechanism works , it's a flip card of sorts , you pull and it flips :
 super pleased with how it turned out :)

it's getting late and i need to sleep so just let me end off by saying i've been keeping fit too !

the reason why ive been blogging less lately is the same reason given for the past few occasions:

i've been too lazy beyond comprehension . 

yup , the laze bug has hit again so i haven't exactly been spending time productively on the things i enjoy doing . it's not just limited to blogging . you know how being too busy does that to one :x .
of course i'll be working around gathering motivation and re-wiring my mindset again !

anyhoo , there is something i want to confess .

mainly this entry stems from the fact that i've been unable to use my voice properly since 2 days ago . it's a case of lost voice , hence penning down my thoughts in writing is strangely extra empowering . ironic thing about this is that upon discovery that my voice has disappeared on the first day , my mood went through 3 fluctuations namely: frustrated , amused , resigned

realizing i had trouble making orders was what contributed to the frustration and trying and failing to hold a proper conversation with friends contributed to the amusement . last but not least i resigned myself to fate that my voice will probably take some time to return .

i'm on the road to recovery after eating the meds given by the doctor yesterday . plus loads of rest of course .  it's good to be able to talk again ! never realized how much i'd like to till then . funny how that's always the case .

so just the other day mokona was telling me that my posts are becoming a monthly occurrence which is really not a good thing . hence here i am with a bi-monthly for y'all :)

unfortunately since there isn't much to blog about these days , this will be another narcissistic one .

*cough* do excuse me . first of all though here is the progress thus far on my tyranitar gijinka:
 
since the gijinka's almost done i'm counting this whole piece as 70% complete .
cute ain't he ? hehe . lately i seem to have a thing going on for everything loki-esque .
hence the colour theme and fanfics and matt healy . google if you really have to know :p

First and foremost , happy CNY to you guys still keeping an eye on this space !

i know i've been terribly uninspiring lately ,
but after dealing with a truckload of work and personal matters i just don't have the energy to do anything else .

excuses excuses :p

but really , everything has sucked so much you don't even know .

if anything , my new year's resolution is always to be less lazy and more open to embracing positivity so we'll see how well that resolution works out this year .

anyhoo i've been watching a ton of movies lately such as ;
i,frankenstein , the four 2 , the monkey king , robocop .
and out of these movies in my opinion , four 2 was alright and the monkey king meh with four 2 being much much better than monkey king . and if you ask me to choose between i,frankenstein and robocop , it's i,frankenstein for me .

since most of the reviews you see floating around are pro robocop , here's my take .

spoilers alert

for one , in robocop i feel the main character alex really lacks depth . he doesn't have to make his own choices , his path is set for him to walk on . he walks on it alright and doesn't put up much of a fight ; it seems like he comes to terms and accepts his fate too easily without much of a struggle . but maybe its the lack of character development in the plot . oh and his background is too boring so nuh uh definitely not what i like . don't get me wrong though , the movie was good it's just the character that i find meh .

and so ... i prefer i,frankenstein . obviously you can see adam's character developing well . he's basically lost and trying to find himself , struggling in the process and the choices he makes are his own . not to mention , he is sometimes driven by rage but also has compassion . you must know i like characters like this :). though it was predictable and the ending felt kinda rushed the story in entirety was action packed and that's good enough for me . probably another plus point this movie does for me is that it involves supernatural beings which i much prefer over robots anytime .

with all these talk about movies , go catch frozen if you haven't (yup it's still in threatres)

it's good imo . one thing are the stunning character designs . i like the designs for both the sisters , elsa and anna , as well as kristoff . the movie has many twists to it too and it's entertaining throughout , even with all the singing (i kid you not , it's so much singing it feels like a musical) .
one mystery about frozen though , although i normally like complex characters , i find myself more drawn to anna . i would suppose that is because anna isn't a goody goody two shoes character , she breaks rules , plus she is strong in her way as she doesn't let anything bring her down . you don't see her hating on or resenting elsa when most probably would . you don't see her hating on or resenting hans too when most definitely would . kind of reminds me of someone hmm . anyway surprise surprise . told you i have really extreme tastes .

now that movies are over and done with ,
cny thus far is pretty alright for me . not dreary at all and i got to play cards and mahjong .
and booze , one can never forget that . luck is pretty ok too .

it's just that every time i try to write , the words don't come out right .
so I've been giving up and going to sleep every single time .

i've also been having excessive moodswings lately .
it's funny . i will tend to view things with 2 very different stands or feelings each time , which obviously produces different results . it's either i lash out in anger or appeal to my better nature and give forgiveness for what it's worth . no point holding on to hard feelings right ?

or so i thought . seems that for me forgiveness comes and goes because whenever i go back to the topic , i'm still angry most of the time anyway . well it's just too bad for such assholes and bitches .

on a brighter note , this is my first post of 2014 ~

how i spent my countdown was swimming and stayover at merl's new treehouse ; not forgetting our memorable mcd's supper which we effectively trapped the delivery guy cuz he didn't have the card to come up the lift , didn't have any reception to call us , and didn't know how to operate the call function just outside the lift . as you can see , it was not all our fault .

31st dec 2013 was a really happy day for me too .
cuz i received my all time favourite presents from my all time favourite santa claus :3
