Figured it's time to blog since i haven't updated for eons :x
well at least it feels like eons to me if it doesn't to you .

warning: super long post , probably the longest i have (?)

so i realized a long time ago , my interest are mainly these:
-art
-hair
-fashion
-games
-gadgets
-books

and the list goes on .
maybe i'll be taking up dance though , and maybe i'll like it .
wellll . only 50/50 since i'm not sure if i'll be stoic or not .

so when i blog , you have to be prepared it's most likely going to be one of the above .

and no , food is not really my interest because i don't go around trying and taking photos of all food , giving reviews and analyzing for you what is nice about it , plus i most likely wont be able to tell you where nice foods are in a certain vicinity. except for bubble tea probably :)

today this blog post is mainly inspired by hair and fashion , and on my birthday because i'm random like that .

i'll start off by showing you the new tiger shirt i got:

ive been wanting another tiger shirt for quite sometime so currently super happy with this .
could be better if it had long sleeves though and maybe lesser holes ?

as the flow of events over the past weeks progresses , started hunting for d&d outfits for the 17th.
lucky we started early cuz somehow it was terribly hard to pick .

because i'm forever obsessed with my hair , i've decided that my next up and coming haircut will be an asymmetrical bob that looks something like these:

more so to min's (left) one :)
right one is only so you get a clearer picture of what i want .

not too flashy and i probably won't get caught for it . i find it to be a good choice since i always have the dilemma of wanting to show my ears or at least ear , and i don't like wax or any gel like substance on my hair which means i won't style my hair if i got short hair .

i like scene hair alot btw but obviously no one really wears scene hair and its too attention seeking .

if you happened to come across my fb status 6 days ago ...
you will probably figure that my dog has already passed on .
it's quite hard to write this , but i would like to get it off my chest so you're welcome to sit through .

firstly , i generally hate pity so when i post on fb im not expecting any of that .
i just want to acknowledge that this is a major event that has taken place in my life .
and even if i may not show it much , i will definitely be affected .


Nobel (pronounced 'Noble') is a shetland sheepdog , born on 10.10.1997 , passed away on 03.11.2012 .
making him 15 years and 30 days old . in dog years which i heard is 7 times of human years , 105 years .

the start of any journey is normally the sweetest .

i had him since end of primary 1/start of primary 2 so we grew up together around the same age .
for us being around similar age means we did more things together that doesnt feel out of place .

i still remember having him on my lap and lying on the floor together .

continued on until he was too big to sit on my lap and me sitting instead of lying on the floor .
such behavior changes when we slowly grew up . i enjoyed his other quirks like stopping me from looking at fishes so i would pay attention to him instead . even baiting him with a squeaky toy so he would go after it .


during my younger years i spent most of my time at home so i had alot of time with him ,
but when i grew up , school , work and other activities kept me from home .
i generally like outside activities since home was a little boring for me unless i wanted to work .
around this time he grew older too , less active and sometimes not willing to play much so we spent less time from each other .

so i felt we did drift further away from each other , caught up in our own world and our own time .
but sometimes we would both put in a burst of effort for old times sake .


im glad and grateful for all of what we had and everything we shared although i always did think that it is a little unfair .

unfair that even though our candles were lighted about the same time , yours burnt out so fast whereas mine still has two thirds or three quarters left . rate too fast and length too short .

as much as i feel this way , i accept it because i know it can't be helped .


and from day 1 i met you i already knew you were meant for me and i wouldnt have it any other way ♥

pardon me but this post will feature loads of pictures of yours truly .
i get tired of doing too much of anything so , took a break from my nds today and experimented on eyeliner before going for some shopping . eyeliner experiment is a #success and i can dub this new style as my own :)

(i think lah , for all i know someone else may have invented it already , but still it feels like a breakthrough to me lol)

although i'm quite sad that it vaguely reminds me of this somewhat:



but no way im naming it after hello kitty spectacles ! hahaha i dont mind cat whiskers though .

... realized i defeated the purpose of taking close up shots so you can see the design closely since the frowning spoils it . but still it's enough to see how it's done .

i have a love/hate relationship with eyeliner (and foundation too) cuz sometimes i think it looks especially nice on whereas for other sometimes i think it's better without . the only cosmetic i use is foundation and eyeliner , sometimes blusher . strictly nothing else . maybe that's why my skin quality is so meh . hahaha .

current foundation i have doesnt seem too suitable for my skin so i may be changing it .

but to tell you the truth though i can't really be bothered since my makeup days are like 1 out of 7 .

anywayy . to celebrate the success of my new invention , took a few pics with my rare prop !
(rare only because i dont think i ever used it)

bought a new top and belt for today's shopping , spotted a dress that i like too .
added on more items to my 'probably may buy' list .

will try and do something productive before that ; either complete my kiddlaw or complete my koi painting .
maybe i'm overly ambitious and hopeful but we'll see .

i apologize that recently ive been living in seclusion again .
happens when ive got my hands on a rpg , book or photoshopping/drawing/painting .
it feels as though not all my 6 senses are with me at these times .
i have the longest attention span for books , followed by games and the rest are about equal .
i promise to snap out of it starting from now XD

Amidst other things , it's admittedly not so good for me to neglect my blog :p

just a short summary:
i only finished my additional work on weds , thereafter having event on thurs , movie and food on fri , helping out steve on sat = slept late all 5 days and woke up early for 6 last week .

sounds justifiably like a busy week , no ?

luckily for me though , this week is only a 3 day week ,
off on thurs and public hol on fri , sat and sun to rest . hurray :D .

as usual this post will be a tad random .

first things first , i promised to show you what i was doing up till wed ,
i'm just gonna show you the best 2 pages:

hehe i've also been super excited recently cuz my birthday is coming !
and i super super like presents :p
every birthday i tend to get one for myself too ; self gift to self . 
lol ok fine i admit it does sound a little strange but heyy dont judge since i find it perfectly normal .

time to do some research on the gadgets i have my eye on :D

(includes cams , tablets etc)

since i really have not much left to tell you about , i'll share the top 3 crocodile figurines i like .
the first 2 are definitely the ones for me but i can't decide my preference between the 2 of them .

the custom colour (white) is remodeled with his lock of hair in the front .
i dig that but i think colour-wise black looks better .

Hello .
i missed you !

told you i may not be touching this space for sometime , seems like i was right .
staying up till late working has its perks but ultimately its not so good for my health and youth .
whenever i lack sleep my eye rings are super prominent in photos .
i lacked sleep for the whole of last week and i'm quite impressed with the magnitude of my eye rings .

sunday's one is a bit better then friday cuz it has filters and i slept at least 8 hrs on fri and sat .
my usual sleeping hrs on fri and sat is actually >10 hrs , but to make more use of time i wake early.

oh the perk for staying up late working is that i tend to make complete productive use of my time instead of wasting lots of it away . but i dont appreciate what it does to my health , i tend to fall sick super easy and my eyesight is deteriorating .  of cuz that's also because half the time if im not using my computer photoshopping away , i'm gaming on my nds .

i have a hard time deciding on the audience of this blog .
mostly i feel my posts could be openly read because there isnt too much personal content but occassionally i have my doubts on this stand . im not as closed as certain people and i have no qualms about letting certain things be known , but on the other hand being as i am i dislike people knowing certain things as well . i'm terribly selective .

and every time i state things like this , i will add another point to my contradictory nature . honestly maybe i really do have a split personality .

mostly though , as strange as it is , i write for my own personal satisfaction but i do admit it may be useful for future and current affairs . if i make this blog public and slowly garner viewership , its good because when people are interested in you or your matters , you will get a following which is an essential to market anything you want to market .

cons of posting publicly is that i will feel restricted by the viewership and limit or change the content i post , which in turn results in loss of personal satisfaction . Of course i actually created a tumblr account for the very purpose of posting content separate from this blog but i got lazy . it's part of my 2013 resolution actually to post at least once every week on tumblr , but i may start early , lets see how it goes .

my next point is about me and studies and me and work .

it's no secret that i prefer work to studies as i get paid , plus studying is more of a chore . since i am more of a perfectionist , i tend to work hard or even extra hard when i find something i am good at or i like to do . i am neither good nor pleased with accounting and finance so i lack motivation for the field . while im working i cant possibly take an arts course as well since there wont be enough time to juggle both .

i hate to pointlessly part with my money which is why im not studying at the moment .

savings is important so i don't want to splurge everything on studying .
and i kind of don't get the picture why most people maintain a mindset that studies are a must .
maybe it's because i don't have great ambitions or that i just want to have a simple life so my views slightly differ . i refuse to live a tiring life so to me what im having now is fine , although it could be considered something like putting all my eggs in one basket .

if i spend $20k to study for 3 years , how much can i get with my new qualification is subjective .
if i can get a $300 pay increase every year , my pay would probably be about the same as if i obtain that degree and start work . i don't know . am i naive or is society too complicated ?

actually my childhood ambition was to be an artist . but there has been certain improvisations made to this plan as i don't believe i can survive comfortably with this as my sole occupation .
well , given hard work put in after or while saving more money , i probably could venture into publishing books or manga or maintain a site that generates income , or run a shop that sell things ; all of which i am very much eying with a quizzical air . what are the chances given the odds really . but even that being said , these are the things that i would like doing , so i wouldn't mind trying .

another thing i don't mind doing as a sideline as well would be fashion .

because i did seriously consider this , i know it's not easy and it would require a lot of effort . nothing is an easy investment . as i am still enjoying my carefree life i feel it isn't the time to start yet but it is a gradual process so i presume i should start being more active *stops to ponder*

ok enough of heavier than usual shit . i promise to photo blog next . bai ♥

honestly someone like you with someone like me . doesnt stop me thinking about it .
