mauve
and so... my first post of 2016 ,
i did my hair purple !
yep , just the ends as usual and im liking it so far :B
following the below chart, my favourite shade of purple is mauve .
depending on the lighting and filters i use , i manage to achieve a mauve shade pretty often .
the only downside is, my most preferred filter for my hair may not apply to the overall picture .
after this stint , i probably will not be able to decide whether to keep purple or revert back to ash brown . or maybe ash grey ?
well this is somewhat free advertising but i woke super early to colour my tresses at snips avenue , boon keng branch .
just in case you were wondering .
now that's very much enough about my hair .
moving on .
i've given some thought and conceded that fulfilling wants would be something that makes us all happy ; but what's more important are needs which some may not even have the luxury of having .
i guess the first step is to recognize what we have and be happy with it , as contrary to popular belief , contentment does not equate to happiness . i am easily contented but not easily elated . it also works to not overthink , trust , yet know where to draw the line . this concept applies for my money at least !
i occasionally give (without expecting anything in return)- not more than what i can afford of course , but somehow i always get what i give and sometimes more in return . i speak of giving in terms of the people around me . and getting back not from the same people (although it happens sometimes), but rather from others or the environment . this year though , i will be making some donations as well , animals first of course . though i like to hoard wealth when i can , there is no point in being too selfish . and also cut down on my excessive spending habits where possible , to a point that i am still kept happy and well maintained .
haha i know merlyn is the same as me when it comes to how we think for this !
(although she is more of an extremist when it comes to spending and saving)
funny how things have a way of working themselves out when we don't put too much thought to it
