i should stop

lest i let this anger build , this rage consume at the end
once set in motion it careens and the only way it goes is down
i'm not stepping on the path of self destruction again
ironic how it takes one to stop one
embracing that things are meant to be the way they are
not hoping to change what you cannot
time doesn't necessarily cause change
faith and hope may well be nonexistent
for when have they ever served me well ?
i don't believe in them , not for now 
i won't be made to second guess again
i won't turn back i'll let it go
